    I did something stupid.

    Hello my Friend's.

I've been working on my base for the D9R Dozer.

I added some pastel dust and instead of dropping  bits of water onto the base The idiot writing this used white spirit instead

I did something stupid today, I went to Ikea Reading and have spent more time waiting to leave the car park I did shopping. To be fair, it is not in the control of Ikea and they are handing out drinks to stuck customers.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

They are not mistakes they are learning opportunities.

Maybe I'm missing something, but the mistaken substitution of white spirit for water seems hardly end-of-the-world stuff. It would have been far worse had you been making tea Ralph

And I can easily beat the forgotten masking tape... I built an Airfix Spitfire posed in-flight for a friend & forgot to include the pilot!  :S

Needless to say it was the first thing he remarked upon  :/

I think what you were missing Patrick was the stink .

Lucky it was sunny today and could dry outside.

I also sprayed hairspray all over it to help get rid of the smell.

It's a bit more tolerable now.
