    Do you like Yoghurt?

    Hello my Friends.

    Funny story for you.

Back in the 70's,we went to visit my nan and aunty, and my aunty had made these toys for us.
It was a little furry thing on a stick then placed into a yoghurt pot the stick going through the bottom of the pot so that when you pushed the stick upwards the furry thing would pop out of the yoghurt pot.
My aunty said that what you do is ask someone,"do you like yoghurt" and if the person said yes you pushed this furry thing into the persons face and say "you're a boggart".
Well we kid's had a lot of fun with this until, wait for it!.
Yes as I pushed the the furry thing into my brothers face the furry thing fell of the stick and the stick went into his nose and came out through the side and into his cheek. He went into the house screaming,my nan pulled the stick out and said boy's will be boy's and stuck a couple of plaster's on him.
    All true.

I was going to say yes Black Cherry being my favourite.

But that story could have ended very differently. Saying that though I've had a dart end up stuck into the top of my head after my brother tried to hit a moving target on the end of a stick I was moving up and down in the early 70s.

    Boys will be boys.

Things like this just wouldn't happen nowadays...there would medical, legal and possibly the child taken away. Pfffft...soft as anything kids nowadays.

One thing I remember from the 70's as a kid was my Grandfather making a wind up tank from a wooden cotton reel, a nail, piece of candle, rubber band and a match stick. Me and my cousin watched in awe as he made this toys-we wound them up and they scuttled across the floor! Hours of fun from household items!
