I am one of the oldie generation with no mates that doesn't bother with a mobile phone. I have had three in the past few years and never really bothered and they ended up defunct.
However, with my illness and disabilities not getting any better family was worried and wanted me to have one...for that just in case moment. Now, me and touchscreens don't go well, could be down to the fact I pick my nose too much or have finger tips coated in glue and paint
But, the swipe doesn't work, even a stylus doesn't seem to work with me.
I have though got a smart watch, on a pay as you go sim. I can use it as a phone, has a camera, tells the time-obviously and can get onto web etc.
Rather nifty and I can actually use this touch screen!
