Yeah locked-down work PCs are a PITA for us. We have a client who is a VERY large UK telecoms company who refuse to give up IE 6 !! They also want modern features in their websites that IE 6 won't support and we have tried again and again to explain to them that we can't do the things they want unless they upgrade from IE 6. They point blank refuse to consider this as they have an install base in the 10s of thousands and the cost to upgrade is in their opinion too much.
