Hi Rick. Do any of those Tornado kits include decals for a Saudi kite?. Something I want to build one day

I don't think so Dave. The 1/32 version has decals for 31sqn & 617sqn and the Italeri 1/48 has option for 9sqn & 31sqn, an Italian and a Luftwaffe kite. The Revell 1/48 tornado is a German one only. The Italeri 1/48 F2/3 Tornado has Saudi decals though.

I built the Italeri 1/48 ADV in Saudi markings when i was working out there in the 90's. Its a very basic kit. I also did the Revell 1/32 model. Even more basic than the Itareri!.

While in the loft I stumbled across my old Sea King course manual from 2002. I think this makes my mind up to do the Hasegawa Sea King HAR3 later this year, although it is a rich mine of technical and systems information it lacks photographic references but there are plenty of them on line.
Here's just a few pages to give you an idea of how comprehensive this manual is. I have included the pages that detail one of the differences between the HAR3 &3A; the main lift frames were modified on later production batches.
Now to find the time to build one.

Seeing as I have only completed one of these kits and stuttered through two others maybe I should amend the title of the thread to "..the years ahead.)!
