    Kitchen/Spitfire interior colour

I've just put a coat of Crown "Cool Aqua" Kitchen and Bathroom paint on my (well her!) kitchen walls and ceiling. I am struck by its resemblance to the colour of a Spitfire cockpit though I think you'd struggle to cook your dinner and do the washing up in a Spitfire cockpit.

Weird,it's not like I chose the colour!

Cool. Can it be thinned and blasted through an airbrush? You might of just found a cheap supply of RAF Grey-Green. lol

Ahhhh, the perils of aircraft modelling, you could suggest doing the worktops in dark earth. And green camo?

I bet you paid a bit more for your 'Cool Aqua' than you would for a couple of gallons of Spitfire cockpit paint during the war!

Well now, there are dark green tiles behind the main sink/work top area so I could suggest a dark earth disruptive pattern there. I might suddenly develop a limp or a sore head though!

You'd be correct about the price Richard. You could probably paint the entire Spitfire for less in 1940!

          Cheers
