Off to live in telford. Need model shop.

I will be calling telford my new home from early next year. Wondering if anybody knows of any model shops in the area.

Bad news is there aren't really any model shops in Telford, good news is there is the Scale Model World show every November taking up the three halls at the Telford International Centre ( just missed it this weekend ) or there is the Telford Model clubs show that they put on in April at Cosford RAF Museum.

There used to be Shrewsbury Model centre, not sure if that's still open, or if you fancy a little trek, Mr Models and Parabellum are not far from the Jewellery quarter in Birmingham. Whilst that way there is Mike's Models in Kingstanding.

Up the M6, Stoke on Trent,  you have eModels, though you need to know what your after as they don't allow you to go into the warehouse but bring your items out to you.

I'm sure there are more out there that people will point out

Thanks Ade. I was going to try to get to SMW this year as a tie in with visiting family in telford. Unfortunately that fell through and I didn't get there. Always next year.

Thanks for all the info. Shame there isn't one in telford. Will definitely look up some clubs up there.

There is Kingkit, a major dealer in secondhand kits and other odds & ends.  www.kingkit.co.uk

You used to be able to call in person at Kingkit when it was in Shifnal. Don't know what the current situation is, you'll have to ask them
