It's been very off & on for me too Ian, so you're not alone. I start something & then can't even bear the thought of carrying on with it.

Work & noisy neighbours don't help with concentration either!

Me too ian, the mig 21 has been taking months to progress. For me its the new longer hours at work plus the cold weather always puts me off going in the shed . Itll come back again soon , probably a xmas model gift will get your mojo ignited again!

I get that feeling often but only when I pick up certain kits I have this revell tornado that I want to build but for the fourth time I picked it up and then put it back on the stack.
Maybe I will do it some time this year

It's the opposite for me, plenty of mojo and bench time....it still takes me months to complete anything because I get distracted by another build.
On the bench: Airfix 1/48 Sea King HC4, Revell 1/24 Trabant.
Coming soon: Airfix 1/72 Phantom FGR2.
Just finished: Airfix 1/48 Stuka & Airfix 1/72 Sea King HC4.

Have a break for a week or so, drink a glass of sherry or two, it'll soon be over and you'll be raring to go in the new year!!

I sometimes get like this too. This is why THIS forum is second to none. I get inspired by all of the members here. Apart from this I have no one else who is generally interested in my hobby. You will be back on the bench soon. Enjoy the festive break. Merry Christmas to you.
              Kindest regards Alan

I've been trying to start a big old He 219 for weeks with no luck.
Now I'm holding out for a promising looking box, currently under the Xmas tree. I have to build presents
                Cheers

We all have these phases. Like Tony my MIg21 build has slowed to a crawl. Largely down to working long hours and business trips. Makes it very difficult when you get home to do more than the required housework.

I've been very off these last months too.
Just hope this new coming year will be different. I have two ambitious projects on mind, and I would like to build them!

I know the feeling as well. Taking a great deal of effort to get to the bench at the moment. It will pass.

I have been like this for months, pain mainly just drains me and I cannot be bothered. I started to get that can't be bothered part way through that commission build, hence I set too on that bus-because it was for me it didn't matter if I made a mess of it, luckily it went really great and I enjoy myself. In the New Year I will get back to the tank.

Chin up Ian. hopefully it will pass and you can get back to it.

It happens to us all I had not done anything for about 6 months , I normally build race cars and bikes but lost my mojo , a few weeks back I dug out from the stash a 1/48 Eduard Hellcat combo kit , I`ve always had a soft spot for aircraft so started it and I`m enjoying it big time ,

sometimes its nice to try something different and out of your comfort zone , and its like learning all over again , I feel like a novice,

                              Happy days
                              Richy

Ian after seeing your Christmas stash I would be surprised if you have not got your mojo back already , nice presents mate.
