    RIP Rick Parfitt

A sad day, learning that Rick has passed away. I saw Status Quo when they supported Queen at Knebworth Park in '86 & somewhat surprisingly David Bowie at Cardiff in 1987. Both were great gigs & Quo definitely got us all rocking!

I also have a personal memory of meeting both Rick & Francis Rossi at Heathrow airport.

They were coming in from Dublin & my friend and I were working that day. My mate wanted them to sign his cd copy of Twelve Gold Bars, but was too chicken to ask. So muggings was up for it, only to have the pen run out of ink! Thankfully Rick had one & wasn't fazed when in my embarrassment, I nearly walked off with his expensive pen ops:

I'll be glad to see the back of 2016. Too many legends gone.

I agree with the above. I'm a life long Quo fan and can't believe he's gone. The guy is a legend. R.I.P. Rick.
