    Evolutioning....

    Yep

This one it's a part of Stona's reply (Steve) on a completed thread....

""Really nice job on this one, there are some seriously good builds being finished at the moment.""

I cannot be more agree on that!!!
It makes me remember some builds and thinking about them.
I arrived on the forum at 2011. A guy nervous because his English was "quite dangerous" (isn't much better now...) and fascinated with the finished models that members post.
Maybe some of those members leaved the forum, or just they are taking a break....but most of us still here.
My perception is; the "level" is much higher than then.
Most of you will think that is normal after the years....
    Maybe!
But I prefer to think that is a very important part of our forum, that never anyone mentioned before. We always talk, that this forum, is a very friendly place. It's true!! But is more than this! Is a place where all us are improving ours skills....and do it together.
I love to see all the members here, evolutioning in the same direction!
Was easy, sometime ago, to see members posting "excellent" builds founded on other sites. Now seems we all believe more on our ones

My first post, five years ago, was a pink panther... I build many and difference models since that day. But always learning from you all!
Just expect this binomial remains some more years

I think I joined this forum in 2016. I used to join a local forum, but participation dwindled and it ceased to exist. People prefer to post it on Facebook, but this old son of a gun here doesn't like Facebook. I am not sure I improved on my build, but one thing for sure is, this forum helps me to continue building, and sharing.

Youre absolutely right polux , i think everyone who participates on the forum is constantly learning and improving , i know i have . My first posts on here were just as i got back into modelling and looking back i can tell a difference from then to now . We dont always realise it but we are constantly exposed to the different techniques , materials and methods being used by other modellers and we can all learn something new to add to our own skill set and vice versa other people can learn from us ( although in my case its ' dont hold your model in front of a heater ' !! ops:( Mig 21)) . Long may this forum continue , its a testament to the quality of modellers / people we have on here that makes it so successful , cheers tony

The level of craftmanship is improving year by year as we exchange ideas, methods and increasingly challenge ourselves and each other to produce great builds that we are happy to share with our fellow enthusiasts.

            Onwards and upwards!

As long as we are enjoying it will never be a chore!o_O

I've only been a member a few weeks, but I have found the support and advice I've received here to be invaluable in my first build.

I've learned loads of things from this forum and its members and as a result, I too have improved.. I'll be posting up my latest work later today or tomorrow. I didn't even know you could buy black sandpaper until last week lol and now I've almost finished my taxi way (you'll see what I mean when I post my new build up)
