    Landing ship in 1/144 is an odd scale isn't it? I suppose it does give great diorama possibilities though.

      that's my plan Graham I have never tackled weathering or a diorama before so I think will give it a crack just hitting the forum and you tube for as many hint and tips I can find lol

        Well it looks clear its the landing craft. Am look at doing my first ever diorama as Graham gave me the idea. Will be after the main assult on the beach of Normandy i have never tackled any hing like this before. So i will start 2 new threads one will be on he build the other will be hammering you all for tips. If there are to many questions i am sorry but any advice will be much appreciated.

          At 44 cm long that is going to need to be a pretty large base to get anything out of.
          I dont think you will need to make two threads. Just start the build thread and put the questions in there as they arise. It will keep the thread much more interesting and alive and more importantly keep the whole thing together.
