    want to buid trailer for a truck which is 17 1/2 inch ong how big has the trailer got to be

    hi guys thing about getting a matchitecture truck it's 17 1/2 inches long pease tell me how long the trailer have to be in inches please

    What's the scale? The most common trailer in Europe is 44' long.

      17 1/2 long x 9 1/2 high that's it

        Jim if you google it a peterbuilt conventional with trailer is 73 ft a trailer is usuall 44 feet and if you notice about a third of the truck is under the trailer so i would guess something like 24 inches, that truck is only an aproximation of one so probanly not to any scale, personally i would just build to what looked right and not worry to much about accuracy.

          I think it needs to be a bit more than 24" to look right.

          A Peterbilt tractor unit is a bit longer than 8m. With your model being 17.5" long, that scales out to about 1/18. A 44' trailer in 1/18 scale should be about 30" long.
