As Paul and Steve can't make it, I'll put myself down as the first 'definite'.

What a great day! Perfect weather and great company. It is probably more important for me to meet my friends from S.M. than look at the excellent models on display. It is still great fun rooting in the bargain bins though.....and stocking up on coffee stirrers - as if!

Apart from the Cosford 'Fiver Challenge', I didn't go to buy anything. However, I couldn't resist this big 26" long, 1/400 Heller French Aircraft Carrier on offer for £12. It sells for around the £30 mark, so I had to buy it....

                            The 'X Rated' - Under the Vulcan Wing - Ensemble......Ron(spanner570), Dave(Gern), Colin(colin m), Ian(papa 695), Tony(yak face) and John(john i am)

I also met Dave W and Scott.

.....and yes, I caught Tony bargain hunting!

Brilliant day ron , good job i had a clean pair of kecks on !!!we had a good time rooting for bargains and scoffing various choccy biscuits and eccles cakes . It was great to catch up with my old friends and as usual the weather gods were kind to us with a beautiful sunny day. I managed to curb my instincts and onlybought three kits , one of which is for the fiver challenge- the £4 aero subaru. Thanks to all who came and heres to the next one

Yes, indeedee it was a brilliant day.......and guess what? I told you I would forget my cheapo 1/48 Spitfire, that you kindly put in your goody bag for safe keeping!

Sorry I missed my mates to say 'Ta Ta', but I was bum up in the Hanger 1 boxes and when I came up for air I'd lost sight of you all, and as it was getting on a bit, decided to get an early dart to miss the queues.

                                Here's to next year!
