Has anyone been watching the BBC adaptation of SS:GB on Sundays? I've been gripped by it thus far. I always hoped someone would bring the book to the big or small screen.

it is good, but why is the speech volume so low, not the first time BBC have had this levelled at them.Comment

After part one I was a bit worried it wasn't going to live up to my hopes. But, part two has got things moving, so I think I'm in until the end now.
Some have blamed modern TV's because they have smaller speakers - cobblers - I don't have any problems with 'Call the midwife' or even, a lot of the characters in SS-GB, just the lead detective.Comment

See they (BBC) sorted out the sound levels this week, can actually hear what archer of the yard is saying . And what an explosive episode, German army crossing the SS, plotting to get the king to the states , who won't be welcome, to cyanide cigarettes to blowing up Marx's exhumation !!Comment
