I feel I just have to mention the poor parents of Charlie Gard (for those who don't know the story he is a baby who has a rare genetic disorder and the courts have given doctors the right to turn the life support off) the parents (as I'm sure we all would have applied for an appeal) I think of my son and daughter and think if it was their baby. Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age but I am really upset for them, what a terrible situation to be in, I know the courts are thinking of the baby's (a and ultimately the parents) best interest but it must still be agonising for them, if anything were to happen to our granddaughter I know we would be inconsolable. I agree Ken, what makes it worse is that they managed to get a million pounds to have some experimental treatment in the States. I do not understand why they cannot do that-even if the little one does not improve or dies then they have done all they can for him. This way is just cruel. -
