    WW2 in Colour

This may be interesting to some:

Colour photographs in a new book from the Imperial War Museums vividly bring to life moments from WW2 including troops in training and Winston Churchill and his chiefs of staff.

You're welcome Moni, shame there weren't a few more AFV's.

Oh My!... Aren't the ladies absolutely lovely!... Photos so clean and crisp, if only I was born a generation sooner.
Instead I was born into the Viet Nam debacle and suffered a humiliating and degrading home coming after seeing so many fine young men give their all, suffering painful wounds, permanent disfigurement and indeed losing their lives for an ungrateful public.......AHH! those were the days when patriotism and courage meant something..........Jim
