How do i create a YouTube video of a model build

Hi all, well after someone stole my mad max build (I've made them remove it now) I was thinking of getting in first to stop anyone else claiming one of my builds as their own.

Trouble is I know nothing about YouTube or how to make still pictures into a video, any help out there please (it needs to be in the form of instructions to a moron as I'm useless with this sort of stuff) thanks in advance.

You could use Windows Movie Maker, which is a free bit of software. You can create slides which are either pictures or text, which are then strung together into a movie. To give you an idea heres a video my boy made for a school project which uses the same principle (and software).

Edited to add: You can set the time each frame is displayed for, and apply various effects to transition between frames.

Further edited to add: You obviously then need to upload it to YouTube, which requires a YouTube account (sorry if you already knew this and/or this was obvious).

Ken, I forgot to say, if you are going to add a music track make sure you use copyright free music. If you use anything with a copyright Youtube will take the video down. People quite often use classical music as this is usually old enough to be copyright free, but if you do a Google search there is quite a lot of homemade stuff you can use.
