You are right, those types do not go by the book anyway,I doubt whether anyone will even entertain it,I just had to get my point over to him not that he will care ? these people go under false delussions of making loads of money overnight.

Airfix are still plentiful at the moment, whilst TSR.2's are not in general circulation, they are out there somewhere ?

            I suspect he doesn't care!!

                  My reply was this-

'What is it that is eating you guys ? why not check to see the lists, they are rare and demand the price, dont buy,no big deal, soz'

Well he sounds a right twit and does not know his subject, what lists is he on about ? I thought about sending him a link, but why bother he is a total waste of space, what does 'soz' mean ? thats a new one to me.

Well I definately got mine for a good price but I'm not sure what there is there to justify a "Buy It Now" price of 99.00 pounds.

I might just send him one as well that should tick him off!!

                        I just sent him this:

I have just checked out recent completed listings of this item and nothing comes anywhere near your "Buy It Now" price.

That is extortionate and you should be ashamed of yourself.

I'm finding it hard to believe yr all complaining!

Airfix gone bust.....any of you guys wanna sell me yours for the original cost price?

                            I didnt think so.

If he gets 99 quid...you will know what yours are worth.

Airfix moulds will be back soon....(i hope this time round they fit)

When AF first hit the headlines as in trouble the tsr2 kits wre about 30 quid....i think supply and demand comes into this equaZion.....some of the big model stores are so obviously hanging on to stock...and no one can blame them....We live in a capitalist society. Airfix prices will and are going through the roof...luckily i have nevr been a fan......I just dont have enough filler!!!!!

If someone is prepared to lash out £99 on a TSR.2 kit then they have brain cells missing ! the thing is these capitalists are not to be encouraged.

I say it again there are plenty of spare kits out there if you look for them,it is an hyped up false market, much the same as they created with the Yesteryear range of diecasts.

What has happened here is that people have hoarded them and 'created' that market, let the present situation settle down and the models will re-surface again one day,in between Airfix will be saved I am confident, and the TSR.2 kit will go back into production, then these people will have egg on their faces.

It happens all the time in the collectors field, stamp and coin collecting is the best example, they create false demand, then sell high,or try to ? then the market explodes, think of it has a model stock exchange.
