What access problems did you have? and what did you do to fix it? would be good for future reference if anyone else has a problem

cheers nigel and jim! Jim i know what you mean, mines only got a cockpit so far!

John- i could access the site but whenever i logged on everything slowed down untill a point where the posts just wouldnt display! I tried everything i could think of and after awhile figured it was some specifc to my router, i changed back to the old one and it seems to be working pretty well now! :-)

Squiffy, where have you been ? all is forgiven !

Dont worry I noticed from Fleabay that you have been selling well, all of that packing takes a lot of time,at least you will have some respite from the shows now the winter is around the corner.

Thanks for all your kind words guys!

Yes i have been ultra busy! I have now hired a team of web designers to fully upload all of kits to my site as i cant keep up with the customer demand on my own.

Guy, yeah that was a good show, sorry to miss your sub in action though, bet it looked great in that pool! Did you see the pyro display on the sunday? it was really good!

Wonwingo- fleebay is HORRID! Recently they changed the way shop listings work and increased their final value fee to 10% of the items value. Pretty bad when the markup on kits like SMER is only 33% in the first place. From this week i will be changing tacks with ebay and using it as a promotional tool rather than a market place.

Ive got quite a few referance photos and tutorials to upload to the site. I will duplicate them all here for people when i can a spare few minutes, meanwhile the neiport can be seen here:

You have made the right decision like many others Squiff,I really like the layout of your new site, beware Fleecebay are tightening up on links employing a team of people to scan the listings,so use it while you can, greed has badly set in and I think that this will be their downfall, what they have failed to grasp is that small low priced items have now become totally un-viable there, coupled with the postal increases there just has to be a limit imposed on what they can charge.

I like the tutorial on re-scribing panel lines, excellent, and also your gallery pictures as well, why not try and link these to a particular kit that you are selling ? you could build up a library of detail images from museums etc, even place the respective kit for sale at the top of the page ? just an idea for you to consider.

Anyway good to see that you are growing steadily,as long as you can retain that personal touch then you will be fine.

                          Thanks Barry :-)

I know they hate you putting links in your listings, which is why i dont do it, i use images with my URL in as they dont mind that! (although this may well of changed, because, as you say they are greedy gits!

The market wont be able to sustain the small valued items, so i think its a limited duration for them now!

Great idea about adding links to the products, ill get on and do that! The hard bit is getting decent close ups in the first place. Once i have my bike back im going to go round all the local musems, theres several here!

Guy- i forgot to ask, how do you know the kids who were following me about? i forget their names?

Sorry for the delay in the greeting but I am currently in Dry Dock and we have only just got Internet access back.
