    Whats your dream kit??!!!

Hi all, just wondering what everyones dream kit is that for what ever reason they've not been able to get?

Mine from a young age is the Airfix 1:12 scale blower bentley, even now its out of my price range, but when funds allow....

    Cheers, Andrew

Cheary new for you then Andrew. Airfix will be re-releasing the Blower some time in the near future.

My dream kit? I could seriously go for the 1/35 Scammel tank transporter from Accurate Armour. Just need to rob a bank first. Failing that I don't really know.

Hi Andrew at this moment in time my dream kit would have to be the Trumpeter BR-52, great looking kit.

My dream kit arrived today , the Tamiya 1/12 Brabham BT44B , this is the original which must be over 30yrs old that I got from eBay but still looks very sharp even for todays standards , decals have yellowed a bit so have just ordered a new set from Indycals in the US also a few detailing bits for the engine like wiring braded hoses connectors etc , also recieved today seatbelt stuff like ribbon , hardware pe and decals as the original did not come with all this.

Happy days , might even do a mini blog with this one .

Mine would be the Revell B-1 1/48 scale. I bought it when I was kid, for the equivalent of €20,- I even started building it but I grew into adolescence before I could finish it. I gave it away as it was to bulky to bring with me each time I had to move - one of my bigger regrets.

Any Armotek tank kit (specially loving the Panther, Tiger 1 and Firefly) - 1/6th RC armour Mmmmmmmmmmmm, nice.

If I had £30K sat idle i'd buy the lot... and that (sadly) is why I don't have a 1/6 metal monster running round my garden - PRICE! LOL!

                  Cheers

This one closed but I will be adding it to my stash again once we've move to a larger flat. Not only is it lavishly large, it's also one of the most beautiful birds (IMHO) to be equiped with bomb-racks.

My dream kit at the moment is the Fine Molds Millenium Falcon which is around the £250 mark.

I would love one but after being hit by a £1200 bill from HMRC due to an admin fault at their end I really can't justify that on a model. Think I may just spend about £30 for one of the Ertl ones on ebay (once my stash goes down a bit).

My dad built a 1/32 (could even have been a bigger scale possibly) Zero many many years ago ..... it was my first introduction to aircraft modeling ... cannot remember the make but I remember this very very awesome detailed looking model parked on the shelf. "outstanding it was." I was only a lightie at the time (about 12 or 13). My father passed away a few years ago and i think one day that i would like to build one just for memories sake ......

I'd love to have a 1/24 FW190 A8 but the only one available is the very old Airfix jobby. I wish Tamiya would do one for me
