why Is when people get drunk in pubs and clubs find their way home when paralytic

This is a puzzle to work out.

When people go out for the night on the weekends, they get so paraltic and they stagger home walking, when they can not afford a taxi and not taken home by police or ambulance or freinds or family just walking. How the hell do they make it home and how the hell do they know what roads and streets to take when the lights go out, when they are serverly drunk, some please answer this puzzlement

The late Richard Harris once said "The world spins around us all when we are drunk, so best sit down at the kerbside and then wait for one's house to come past, then just open the door and fall in."

It works for me - or should I say 'used to!'

Alcohol activates the shoes that links to your bed allowing you to get home safely when in an alcoholic haze , they even take you to the bathroom or couch if your significant other is angry with you

After a very good night out, a good friend of mine went home in the dark and, having forgotten his keys, banged on his front door. No reply.

He tried again, still no reply. In his frustration, he kicked the door. Only to kick out the bottom pane of glass, badly cutting his calf. The door opened, and there stood his next door neighbour!

He had kicked in the wrong front door. Not only did he ruin the hall carpet with his blood, the neighbour had to take the idiot to A&E!

that's what i mean. he got the wrong house, did he wear his wife's shoe's or the neighbours.

Reminds me of an old joke - guy has a few too many, crawls home, pulls himself up on the door knocker, eventually gets his key in the lock, falls through the doorway, crawls up the stairs and passes out at the bottom of his bed. The next morning his wife says "You had a few more than usual last night". "How d'you know that" he says. "The pub landlord phoned", she answers' "you left your wheelchair in the bar"!

Not everyone makes it home directly. I used to be a drinker (not an alcoholic - I wasn't rich enough so I was just a drunk!) and many times found myself waking up at 4:00am passed out on some grass bank or other many, many miles from home with no recollection of how I got there.
