I think that if you go to Revell.de there is a link to customer services. You can choose to see the side in English at the top of the home page.Hope this helps .Ian m

Hi, revell will replace the part if its a kit currently in production which I think it is. It will take up to 6 weeks tho. If you've got a receipt I think they will replace free of charge, there is details on their website. Did you get the kit from modelzone? if so if you contact them and explain wahts happened they may open up another and replace the part, they did recently for me!!!

      Cheers, Andrew

Hi mate, I'd give the modelzone store a ring and explain the situation, and sweet talk them a bit and see what they'll do. I recently had a missing part replaced by them for a kit bought in march, and didn't have the receipt!!! If the box has the modelzone price sticker on it that will help even more!!! I'd definately try ringing them.

If they can't help email revell using the following address, salton@revell.de I got this a little while ago (again from the very helpful modelzone staff!!!) when I was looking for some decals missing from a kit I bought second hand. They would of sent the decals out for free, but the kit is no longer in production so they weren't available!!!

          Cheers, Andrew

Andy try buying some quite thin plasticard sheet from the kit stop and make the bit yourself, if it doesn't work you've only wasted £2.00 and tried another method. Saves you buying another kit for just one part, i hope this is in some way helpful.

Hi Andrew, the only other suggestion, if you wanted a bit of a challenge would be to build it with the one side of the hull missing, and if you could find enough info, try and scrathbuild the interior to be on show. That way at least if you could do it, the model could be reversible when on display!!!!

                  Cheers, Andrew

I saw that one postage was £9,00, and with these kits selling for £30 up, I dunno if he'll wanna pay that much!!!!

If only we could find the person who bought the kit with the opposite 2 hulls in.....

                        Cheers, Andrew

yes ian it is. bit miffed with modelzone liverpool to be honest. told one guy on the phone my problem and he was trying to be helpfull but then handed me over to another staff member who told me that he had this kit at home but it had quite a few parts missing then tried to flog the bits to me for £40.. the original kit cost around £50 and he want to sell me an unbuildable box of parts for £40..... well looks like i will be buying online in future if thats the type of customer service they are offering ou these days. the other advice he gave me was to put the box in the loft and wait for a few years on the off chance that revell re-release the model..........well thanks for that .

andyrobs, thats a great idea but it just does not appeal to me.

this is the part i need an opposite of.....come on then guys, if it was you how would you do it.

five points to the best answer.

i have seen the one on e-bay will keep an eye on it but as there aint many around its gonna shoot up in price probably.i am most bothered about this because its a bit sentimental as its the only model i have had so far that i didnt buy, the wife and son clubbed together and bought it for my birthday last year which is why i waited a year to start it as i wanted to progress enough that i felt capable of having a good go at it without ruining it....... go on sick buckets at the ready

Another suggestion, probably a bit of a long shot still, but try posting a specific wanted add in the for sale/wanted section on here, there maybe someone on here who could help, but hasn't bothered reading your thread!!!! Or maybe try want it now on ebay, you can put a request for specific stuff with that, maybe someones got a part kit they haven't listed!!!!

I'm surprised modelzone weren't more helpful, I've always found them to be really good, both in the lakeside store I first visited, then our ipswich shop when it opened!!!!

                              Cheers, Andrew
