    Not on much

Hi guys, just an apology for missing posts on my builds and the late replies and also, for missing some of your work.

I have been ill, docs changed my meds three times and are having a rough time with pain at the moment.

I have managed to do some work but not really builds, just some work for our RC boat club-they are wanting to diversify and add RC tanks to our public gala days.

I am still around but not doing too much.

What's this!?.... No excuses!...get back on the horse!
Seriously though...do what's best for your health, I know sitting at the bench can create spinal pain, you'll find a way though
All of us will still be around in various states of health I'm sure Once the modeling "bug" bites you never can fully shake the fever.
                  Take care and feel better

Pain is a terrible enemy. I got back into modelling again as a form of therapy after a rather severe spinal injury. There's no way I can sit at a desk doing modelling, but I've adapted most of my hobbies to be doable from bed. Ok, airbrushing was a bit tricky to sort out but now I happily do all of that in bed as well!
I'm on two types of morphine 24/7 and have been for the last 8 years. I'm no longer in my wheelchair since surgery has been successful, but damaged nerves and a handful of compressed/dislocated/fractured disks makes sure my life is what it is, and will for the rest of my life.

It took me many years to fight with my pain to eventually work out ways I could do things and not just lie in bed watching TV, and the creativity scale modelling has given me works better than any medicine out there!

I hope you can solve whatever problem you're having that's giving you the pain because pain wears you down, bit by bit, until nothing's left.
If I even get 10 minutes of gluing a couple of pieces of plastic in the evening it's something, and I feel like I've achieved something. I hope you can find moments to do short sessions too, just to feel better at least

I have arthritis of the spine but also FM that started a few years ago and has steadily got worse, my brain has problems in deciphering signals properly so just normal touch sensations are amplified as pain signals, so sitting, walking, laying all cause issues after so long. I also fall, especially when tired as the signals get mixed up and I am unsure, specially, where my legs and feet are. I am on co-codomal and Gabapentin tabs, four times a day, they help-just. The docs don't want me on Morphine yet.

I lay on the bed for the computer as it is easier for me but modelling is done in the work shed. I get there, slowly

You take it easy mate and do what you can, when you can.
