As someone who's spent more time in hospital the last 8 years than anyone should have to in a lifetime, or at all, I'm happy every time I hear about someone who doesn't have to - so that's fantastic news!
Women are told to check themselves all the time, and from they're young whereas we men have to find out these things for our self, and often when it's too late for a friend or ourselves...

Imagine if Frank Zappa had known about this earlier and done regular checks, then he wouldn't have died at the young age of 52
                He died of prostate cancer.
Bob Marley stubbed his big toe playing football and didn't see a doctor when it got infected. That killed him.

If you feel something is wrong, have it looked at! There's no medal for ignoring pain and broken bits. I learned that the hard way... It doesn't pay to be stubborn!

Thanks Jens, men seem to ignore symptoms, or tail tell signs, and leave it until sadly in some cases, it's far too late for some.

My message is plain and clear, if you suspect, or feel that something isn't right, then get it looked at, best to be safe....than sorry.

Glad to hear your ok. I know exactly what you've been going through as I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2011. Luckily it was in its early stages . I had Brackytherapy and have been clear ever since.

Glad all is well Tommy. Two guys at work have had prostate cancer recently, one had the thing removed the other is having treatment. It's actually quite common, so I'm glad you and others on here have been cleared of cancer of the prostate.
