I sit here in complete shock.

Charlotte, my prayers go out to you and your family at this sad time.

Nigel was the first person to come to the rescue when i got back into modelling. His invaluable help with my tanks will never be forgotten, and his memory will live on. Nigel was always there to provide help and support with good humour and amazing patience. Nigel improved the modelling skills of all that came into contact with him, directly or via his amazing tutorials.

A fine human being will be sorely missed by the whole community.

              Hello Charlotte,

I have just seen the post and, like everyone else, am deeply shocked.

All the fine words expressed by others are fully warranted, a great loss.

              All my sympathies.

              J.

Along with everyone else, I truly don't know what to say. I was getting to know him through his posts and then in the last week he was starting to help me to try to overcome my fear of the airbrush. I was starting to get to know him through his PM's as well. A lot of what I could say has already been said. It was truly great to see someone who got as much joy from helping others as those that he helped. I never met him face to face. I never talked to him in realtime. But I do consider him a friend.

I am very truly sorry for your loss. Your father will be in my prayers, but please know this... Everyone that I have interacted with in these forums has been touched by your father. Every little tip, idea, or comment that he has posted that myself and others have incorporated into their work will allow your father to live on. I know that even some of the models I am working on now have touches of your father in them. I thank him very much for that.

                  Bob

                      Charlotte,

I am as deeply shocked as everyone else and cannot believe the news.

I know what you are going through as my father passed away earlier this year. It is a hard time for you and our thoughts are with you and the family.

Although I had not met your father and was looking forward to meeting him for the first time on Friday night I feel as though I have known him well through the forum. He did not manage to get me passed my fear of airbrushes but I am sure that he would have persevered.

We in the forum have lost a friend and a mentor, you have lost a father and nothing I say can make up for it. I am thankful that I got to talk to him and learn something from him and that he had a big family to help each other through this difficult time.

If you need a shoulder to cry on on someone to talk to .....

                      James
