    Let's see your stash

I don't know why we don't have this type of thread, but it's always good fun to see each other's stash and the size of it.
    I'll start
Feel free to include your book/reference stash as well.
    Cheers
    John

Very unique stash by the sounds of it!
nice. Each to their own interests. As you can tell, Im into the German WWII side of things even though I am an Aussie. However, I do like the occasional Allied plane. I just started getting into jets recently as well with the F-16

Hmm... Perhaps I should try to put all the boxes in one place and take a photo?

This is my "haul" since the beginning of the summer. One might say that I perhaps bought quite a lot, but the hobby is very addictive and there just are too many kits out there that I badly need... :smirk:
A few of them are built and a handful are started, but it's enough boxes to have made an impact on the floor space in my living room!

In a way it's a good thing my post service went ti*s up and stopped me from buying more kits because I think I've got enough to last me a couple of years - but knowing that many of you have many times bigger stash than I have is comforting and makes me feel a little bit more sane again :tongue-out:

I've promised myself to only buy a couple of kits in 2018 - mostly because I'm going to be really busy throughout the year with various projects, but I've got a list of kits already that I "must" have...

When the new modelling area is done (it's been in planning for too long now) I will arrange the boxes and take a photo.

Jens, could it be that your hobby is actually spending money rather than modelling? :smiling5:

My wife has that hobby too. :sleeping2:

I am feeling rather left out here, since i started building my entire stash at the weekend, an A-Z models 1/72nd Fairey Fulmar MkII.
Although with my local model shop apparently closed down, i will need to start cultivating a stash, to save on postage costs of course.

Although I will post a photo of my reference book stash tonight, that is one area where I suspect I will be one of the worst/best offenders.

The weird thing is that the piles of boxes doesn't look that extreme (it's spread out over three different rooms) but when you see a list like that it's something else...?

My Schwerer Gustav diorama project consists of more than 10% of my stash and then my Entwicklungsfahrzeug Sammlung is another 10 or 11 kits so in "chunks" it's not too bad, but who gives...

Compared to some of my former hobbies (read; lifestyles) scale modelling is a cheap one and I've got enough kits to last me a couple of years so I don't mind it being a bot on the large side.
Some people on scalemates have gigantic stashes compared to my tiny one, that's my excuse... hehe... :tongue-out:

It's no comfort to me when she runs out of cash half way through the month and I have bail her out.:smiling5:
