'Never in the field of human model making have so many been invaded by so few.'
The only thing that bothers me is Ron's hat, I'd look even madder with a top hat .So do we all have to wear them.?
Thank you Steve, don't even go there☺

.QUOTE="colin m, post: 376061, member: 126"]I'm looking forward to all the new faces / builds. The quality of builds I've seen so far from ex MM people has been amazing. This can only be a good thing for this forum.[/QUOTE]
Thank you Colin.
I think we all want to join in with you all.
John
Thanks Ron,
It means the world to us MM refugees, not all 17,000 made it across the treacherous terrain, most perished, only the best of the best made it to your encampment. There is some great talent here and I can vouch for the new blood. It's going to be good times.
Cheers

Did MM really have about 17000 members ? Gentlemen, and Monica, we're going to need a flippin' big table at Cosford.
Colin.
It does seem a lot, I would think about 30 regulars. The majority of whom have turned up here. Just a happy bunch of modelers, joining another like mined group .
We will all settle in seamlessly.

Absolutely John. As I posted somewhere else, I'm looking forward to it all. The Sainsbury's / Asda merger have nothing on us.
As John says, the active element on Mil Mod was very small compared to the total membership. There were lots of lurkers, who never posted, but that core of around 30 kept the thing going and they seem to be the ones who have migrated here. A lot of members on the Mil Mod site joined years ago and had not been active for a very long time, so don't worry.
Peter .
Hi , I've just been back and counted the replies to my "moving to" post approx 34 plus's those like you , Jim, Pete and Ron who were already here.
People would join, then do a couple of posts and disappear. Just managed to contact a new member who had only posted a couple of times and saw yesterday that Ron Glass had turned up here. Another who likes a respectful site .

I was active on the MilMod forums several years ago, then left, and decided to take a look there again not long ago. Just as I’d kind of settled in again, they announced it’ll close …
