New film coming soon called "Hurricane"

A film which tells the story of 303 Sqn. I get the feeling it will be rather Hollywoodised, but you never know.

A review I saw said the Polish squadron was equipped with "the almost obsolete Hurricane". Hmmm.

so obsolete they didnt stop building it til 1944!

Obsolete as a home front fighter from early 1941....still shot down the most planes in th BoB though.

Just remembered this.....

RAF 303 squadron (Polish) Flying Officer W. Urbanovoicz based at Northolt in September 1940. 15 confirmed kills and 1 probable put him in the top ten allied fighter aces in the battle of Britain.
This was the Italeri kit.
