    East fortune airshow

well , it wasn`t a bad day, although not as busy as anticipated. there where fewer stalls than last year .

weather was drizzly until about 11 ish and then lightened up with the cloud base getting high enough not to cause any probs with the show.

Concorde was a sligt dissapointment with it being housed in teh main hanger on it`s own still in a disassembled state, viewing was by the main door only ,being fenced off. because of this the other exhibits are scattered around various hangars and not the methodical way they where b4.

however, some very interesting aircraft seen this year,

such as a catalina, f86 sabre and sea vixen.

i `ve posted some pics below

    as requested ajg

Great pics Adzam - but where's the Catalina? I only caught the odd glimpse over North Berwick (was doing my duty & looking after the even more elderly!)

As I did not get there until 11 I missed the rain. It was a great day with plenty to do. Wife almost bought a model boat to build but the thread for rigging put her off.

The model aircraft display was quite impressive too.

            a fuji s2 pro (digital slr ) and a nikon f100.

where shot on a 50-500mm lense (sigma EX ) handheld so some pics are a bit ropey.

still getting the hang of the lense which is very heavy, this wa its first real outing .
