    Chat On MSN Messenger

I have come up with an idea. (Very rare for me lol)

We use the shoutbox to chat but sometimes gets erased of the conversations that are on there.

What I Thought is that we could choose a day and time to chat on MSN messenger. You can have a massive conversation on there with loads of poeple. It could be a kind of gathering.

    tell me what you think?

Just like your dad Char in more ways than one !! it sounds like a good idea and many groups use a similar idea,I do not really fully understand this Messenger thing it keeps popping up onto my screen, can you actually do a physical chat ie with a microphone,or do you mean type into the box ? can more than two people chat at the same time ? you explain it anyway Char.

well MSN Messenger is a chat programme and you add people using their Email Adress. What you can do is have a voice chat using a microphone or you can type, you can also use webcam. You can download the chat programme by looging onto http://get.live.com/messenger/overview

Then install it onto your computer. you can use any email address but to get the full extras you use a hotmail account. It doesnt make a differece.

Yes you can chat to more than one person in one conversation.

E.G Say if i was talking to Barry in a one on one conversation i could add john and toby to the conversation because i have theier email adress. then we could have one major conversation.

OK so I opened up the Chat window. Do I then have to wait for someone elso to also open up thier window to enable me to be able to talk to them?

It looks a bit like messenger that we have on the ship but I don't use it to be honest. I'd rather pick up the phone!!

Maybe we should have a few set times throughout the day so that people know when there may be someone to talk to such as every six hours at 6 and 12?
