Can the admin bods clarify if people can still join in a GB now or during a GB?
If they can, I would like to appeal to the other genres to join in the WW1 GB as it's not just a military thing.

Brad my dear chap, anyone can join in when they like, as long as they don't begin building before your stipulated start date and finish on the 11th / 11th.

It doesn't matter what genre as long as the chosen subject/ build is WW1 themed. It could be a bright red London Bus with the famous 'We want you!' poster stuck on it!
