How are you shrinking them and what program are you using?

You might have better luck by resizing the image in you picture program. Try resizing them down to around 2x3cm for a large poster 1.3x2cm for a small one.

Also try setting the printer to the best quality.

    Hope that helps.

      Hi John.

I found a web with many posters. I will try to look for his name because the computer erased the direction....

I have stamped approximately 30 and my advice is to do one " power point " you can distribute very well all and to your taste.

As Ian says the measure is correct and a good printer, but the better thing is on photographic paper, the quality is better and the ink supports treatments of weathering, etc...

As Ian says, you get a better look if you resize the image first, if you've attempted to just resize the final print page size when printing .. this could be the problem. Try to change the image quality to the highest you can firstly (ie increase colour to 16 million, have a high pixel count etc) this way the software will not automatically "blend" the image to an "average" when it resizes it.

If you have resized the image first then i would assume it to be the printers capability thats the problem.

If you have problems, or dont have any applicable software then you could email the image to someone to resize it for you... i don't mind doing it if needed ... graphics was the mainstay of my business before i sold up and "retired"
