Built that model about a year ago, for an Airfix kit it`s unbelievable, for fit and detail it`s excellent I don`t believe I had to use any filler. It`s a massive kit so make plenty of room on your bench the engine alone is a kit in itself. Spent many happy hours on this build well worth the money. I can post some pictures if you want. Enjoy.Comment

I decided to finally get a hex punch and die set as well, after having had a round one for twenty years or so. Also some Hornet heads with British WW2-style berets for vehicle crew and Commando figures, and a Resicast 75 mm M3 gun because I need the breech for a soon-to-be built Sherman Crab.Comment

A nice picture book of my favorite Kitty. In English and Hungarian……………..

This finally came today. It was a preorder from the end of October last year. A nice kit and a can be built in the erect or travel mode. The downside is the plastic/rubber tires included that melt the rims over time. Speaking of travel mode, a Fries Kran needed something to tow it, so...…………..

After cleaning out some old stuff this week, there was room for some new kits and a convenient desk lamp:

The lamp has 3 brightness settings, recharged will work up to 4 hours and the base is no bigger than 4 Tamiya bottles.
Although not intended as a replacement for the office lighting I have in the cave, this little one is just for the greyish days when the natural light just isn’t enough or at the end of day with the sun setting down and one needs some extra light on the cutting mat.:smiling4:
My backorder arrived at the LHS:

And seeing this one for a very nice price, I couldn’t let it stay there too:tongue-out::

Fernando,
I have one of those lights - I use it to illuminate my computer keyboard - it works well, but it is a bit top heavy, and it doesn't take much to knock it over! After several falls, it no longer stays open by itself ( now wedged with a piece of card ). I've never really timed how long it lasts, but it's pretty good - If mine packs up, I'll get another...

This kit has a general air-wing of Scooters, Spads, Crusaders, Sea-sprites and Stoofs with roofs.
It doesn’t look all that complicated to build and possibly there are some 1/350th S2’s around, maybe you can build her like she was when you served on her?:smiling:
Anyway here are the pics promised to Monica, photographed going from low to high, with the sun setting down:

A word of advice though, best to use these lamps as additional lighting for on the spot work and have enough ambient lighting available, it’s not good for the eyes having one well-lit place in an otherwise dark room.
A rule of thumb is 10:3:1 in light level proportions, with 10 being the work area, 3 the immediate surroundings and 1 the periphery.
John has these in the store too, although not in stock now….
