This seems like a good time to plug a PDF I made years ago (scroll down to the bottom of the page) :smiling3:Comment

got these for nothing
someone approached my IPMS branch......seems he had given up modelmaking over 20 years ago and had just re-found his stash in the loft,......about 40 kits........and then gave us the kits on the condition they were built not sold for a profit....we had a bit of a lottery between ourselves........it was mostly aircraft with a sprinkling of other stuff.....i 'won' the only car kit......no one wanted the strikemaster so i had it for old times sake as i can remember doing the Omani version as a kid in the 70s.......no one wanted the figures which is half a box worth, but as im planning an airfield dio which i can use for a photo background i only need a couple anyway
we are already thinking of a branch GB

Thanks Lee, good looking Ferrari there, though the kit is probably as old as me...mouldings still look pretty clean though. There were some interesting vehicles in the old Airfix 32 range....Comment

Wow Tim,
Sorry I missed that too and a hearty congrats on your Ruhestand (retirement in German). Lots of time to Moggell now, so get cracking Bud!!!
Damn evilbay strikes again. this kit sat at €16,49 with 3 seconds to go and stupid me clicked on €17 and ended up winning it. I should be shot. I just wanted to raise the price for the seller a little,
And this afternoon at my local Norma store, they had this for €9,99 so I just had to buy one,
Now I have to figure out what I will do with it. Luckily it comes with a 3 year guarantee..……………………………..Use it for scratchy building I guess...……………..

Hi Allen
Thanks for that.....still getting used to it....and can’t model until I get the man cave back after we move. Now up to five days trying to complete the exchange so it’s beyond frustrating....
Nice haul by the way, the vernier is a really useful tool I found....not just for modelling.....Comment

I bought myself one of those digital ones a few years ago. The battery runs out like crazy, though — it gives every impression the electronics are always powered up, only the display getting turned off after a while. Could be this is because I bought a cheap one, but I’ve fallen back on a trusty analog one that doesn’t need me to put in new batteries every time I need it.Comment
