    Nice new logo, Mr. John!

I've only just clocked the new Scale Models 'Logo'! I really must sort my peepers out.....

Very classy, I like it a lot. Nice one John. No offence intended, but I must confess I didn't like the hand one one bit!

    Cheers,

    Ron

Normally I would jump at the Challenge but I am on a borrowed laptop with 412Mb ram. If I try graphics on that it will melt. lol It amazes me that it can run Windows....

Not a critisism - but seems a bit plain - lol

        Sorry for poor joke.

Anyway I don't come on this site cos of what it looks like, but because of the great help and comradeship (can I say that?)

Looking at it a fresh, perhaps a lighter back ground colour?

You're quite right Tony, but we've got to look posh though eh?

The scale models and fighter look good in the lighter blue.......is it possible to gradually go to a darker blue to show the left hand righting up better?

Will you listen to me, anyone would think I owned the site! lol

I don't know, I was looking for a BF109 or some other German aircraft so it looked like a dog fight, but I can't find anything.

Hi John, yes, as it looks now the writing top right is a bit indistinct.

My idea is to leave the spitty with the light blue background but gradually darken the background blue from left to right, to more or less as it was before it was altered, thus making the left hand writing easy to read.

I really don't know if such a thing is possible, I suppose it is....

John I think the idea is perfect as that captivates the whole thing a big sky & the lonleyness of a single Spitfire

Just a slight improvement. Think the Scale Models text needs to be more distinct form the Spitfire it is lost where the text & Spit come together the MOD part.

Perhaps a fiddle with the shadow tint on the text, slight change of brightness on the text or the faintest line around the edge of the text. Not easy to explain as it can only be judged by experiment.

Not a criticism when it first came up I thought the idea was perfect in impact. It looks clean and uncomplicated.

You're right Laurie the right hand text is a bit faint. That's why I came up with the suggestion of gradually darkening the back ground blue from left to right.....Almost look like approaching rain clouds!

Can that sort of effect be done on a computer? My limit is switching the thing on!!

                              Cheers
