I had a burning in my chest for about a week, thought it was heartburn but it was heart ATACK!

Ralph,
Welcome to the 'Bump start my ticker club'. Hope you are doing well now after the op. And hope your family are over the shock.
Had mine in Feb, 2001, no stents but came close with first at home, sitting on the toilet having first ciggie of the day, then decided to have two more at A&E. Once they get you calmed down then you will start to feel a heck of a lot better. Do not worry about your diet, it will all come together, even the thought of the boiled fish and having skimmed milk on your corn flakes. Did I mention the weight gain, I used to weigh in a nine and a half stone in old money, now steady at a comfy hug 12.
Take it easy, Mike.Comment
