    I need help I want to but my dad a model of the tirpitz he is 50 what scale should I buy him I work in 1/35 scale so please help

    Hi Geegad, I think the two most popular scales for a vessel of that size would be 1/350 or 1/700. Cheers Derek

        Hello John, I've built her sister ship, the Bismark in 1/350. It's the Academy version, nice kit, not too fiddly and costs a lot less than the Tamiya one!

            Quick heads up John, there is a Tamiya one with extras on e.bay now......the auction finishes in 4 hours, up to now it's on a good price!

              John its your Dad get him the best and go for 1/350 scale , take Rons advice , anything smaller is very fiddley and a nightmare for anyones eyes ,

                Hi John. Go with Richy's advice and get the best you can afford. You're certainly going to have to look for something a bit smaller than 1/35 though. You'd need an awfully big display cabinet for a Bismark in 1/35! :lol
