    Moving to new server

I'm moving the site to the new server today, the site takes up nearly 50GB so it's not a fast process, I archived it last night and have downloaded the file, I'm just uploading it now, that does mean that some file uploads will not be missing, I should be able to get them back once I've restored the database, but the site could be down for up to 24 hours once I change the domain over.

Hi John, is there something else with the new server or its connections?
My Firefox just blocked the connection to the site, something with the security certificates not valid for the https connection?
Nothing reported when trying to visit via my android phone.

I still have to add the SSL, I can't do that until the update of the name servers is complete, this can take up to 72 hours, depending on ISP's, I can't use the site corrently unless I make changes to my computers host file, I can still only view the site on the old server.

Thanks for the reply, its ok for me as I've ignored the notion of my browser to gain access.
Just wanted to let you know what I encountered, well done with the move.:thumb2:

May have spoken to soon. Just tried to upload a 4.5mb picture and got this message:

The uploaded file is too large for the server to process

Can you try again, although 4.5mb is quite big
