    Hi Ken
Looks a good job. I am sure you will be able to 'escape' and spent many happy hours enjoying the hobby.

Hi Ken, looks quite spacious and with the kind of weather in your parts will be quite comfy. Can't have a mancave like that here in the tropics...it would be like torture on Devils island unless its fully airconditioned. :smiling6:

      Cheers,
      Richard

        Hi Ken,
Are you going to have any window covers to stop the local scumbags from seeing all your nice shiny tools?

I’m kind of surprised at the lack of insulation. I’ve got this feeing it will be difficult building models in there in February, what with having to wear thick gloves

Ken , very nice, nothing beats having your own space. Having somewhere where you can just leave things as they are.

Think Jakko is right about insulation, some Celotex TB400 in between those uprights would be beneficial in the winter and might be a idea.

What is Celotex TB4000? from 12 to 40 mm thickness .

The thinnest product manufactured by Celotex, TB4000 is a high performance, rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board specifically designed to address thermal bridging and reduce localised heat losses.

It can be used throughout a building project to help maintain continuity of the insulation envelope, and is suited tofloor, wall and roof systems. Specific applications include perimeter upstand insulation in ground floors and lining door and window reveals in retrofit projects.

Looks like a great place to hide out and work but I'd agree with the insulation too.

I work in my shed and some days it's been so hot that I've had to abandon ship, or do a few cleaner tasks in the kitchen. Not looking forward to the winter months but by then I'll hopefully have it all stripped out, insulated, and rearranged as most of the space is taken up by tool storage at the minute.

My neighbour across the road has an enormous shed. It has a small bar with draught pumps, a row of optics, the glass fronted fridges you see in pubs, tables & chairs, huge TV on the wall, and even a pool table. Fantastic party location!
