Hi a big tank you, I have past on you messages.
Hi Siobhan and Pete
I have just returned from my holidays to hear your sad news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during these difficult times. We wish Pete a speedy and full recovery.
I received my latest edition of the Tankette magazine today and Pete received a name check and a wonderful photo of all his Toons that he took to the MAFVA award show. Hopefully this will give him something to cheer about
Steve
If the little tanks are called toons then the whole lot have all gone to a good home, the two boys over the road have got them to play with as they're into soldiers, tanks and war games they have got a big sand pit for them in. I don't know why he got rid of them really, I thick he tried to give some away or something ???.

Hi just had a bizarre meeting with Dave the dad with the two boys from over the road, in his hands were two big plastic boxes which I recognised straight away, cutting a long story short Dave hadn't actually given the two boys the little tanks to play with he realised they were too good for that and thought something was up at the time, so he put them to one side, so now he has got his toons back.
5 minutes later Andy turns up the whole lot of shelving and brackets and said I'm going into the loft getting his models down and I'm putting the shelves up and he can lump it, they're too good to hide away.
As for Peter he's getting there slowly, yesterday's physio very very hard to watch even Andy walked out of it and those two have been through hell and back, when you see someone with tears in their eyes just to walk a few steps, if you known what he has done in the past it's very hard to watch, I've only been with Peter 22 years the 20 years before the stories I have heard from friends and family and I don't think much got in their way.
Here's just one little story, a both like military history, so when they were stationed in Germany on sometime off they went to the River Rhine got some oil barrels, planks of wood, rope and did their own version of the Rhine crossing from world war II and if you're asking why, "it had to be done".
They both could write a good book.
I promise I will update you further tonight.

Hi Siobhan
It is hard to watch the one you love going through a bad time. You want to help but have to accept that the medical side of Pete's recovery is in the hands of others. You and Andy are giving the love and support to keep Pete strong and determined. Together you'll ensure Pete will continue on the road to recovery.
I am sure Pete will love to see his models displayed - they are certainly good enough.
Take care.

Siobham,
Watching your loved ones suffering is often worse than personal pain. Thank you for keeping us updated. (Your priority is Pete's and your own health though.) Our thought and prayers continue for better news and it's good to read that he's still battling against all this. Send him our continued wishes to have him back here, when he's able. Take care.

A very quick one, thank you Ian, Jim and Andy, Peter says hello and we'll be back online probably tonight he let the laptop go flat.
I think he is getting better he's told me he's ordered some metal tank tracks some fluid to make them go rusty from the John's shop and something called PE for a build later this year.
More later.

Siobhan , well that's great news, hopefully he's feeling much better in himself.
Not east to watch someone struggle with the most simple thing, but knowing Peter he'll master it.
Regards to you all.

Hello Siobhan,
And of course Pete too!!! That is good news and I can only echo what the others have said. Pete's a fighter and he will whip this setback with flying colors. It just takes some time, big needles and good support to do so...
You guys take care and stay strong. My best wishes to you both from the Fatherland und Güte Besserung an Pete!!!
