That's a nice pair of MGBs Colin. I used to have a '65 MGB roadster, with a later 5-bearing engine, flared wheel arches, Starsky & Hutch paint job, floors made out of Duckhams cans flattened and pop-rivetted on, petrol tank held together with fibreglass, etc... Loved driving it but it was using as much oil as petrol (and rather a lot of both) so I sold it and a Mk 1 Vitesse to buy a friends Mk 1 Escort estate.

Isn't there an MGOC insurance scheme?
Another couple of names to try are Footman James, or Lancaster Insurance.

Foreign. I'll have you know mine were built in the 70's by a proper, uninterested, poorly managed, union driven British work force.
I restored the Damask red one, it was on its third set of sills, all of which had to be removed. 70's rust, nothing quite like it.Comment

Paul - It's a Panther Kallista 2.8i V6. It has an aluminium body with a box section steel chassis. They were built between 1982/93 by Panther Westwinds at Weybridge here in the U.K.

I can't remember how many were build, but it wasn't many. I do know that about 150 went over to the States and there are around 114 left on the road in this country.Comment

Panther Kallista Ron? I'm sure you could buy it in kit form.
