One of the few major design changes permitted in late 1941 was the development of a new turret, nicknamed the 'Gaika' (hex nut) because of its shape. On the Takom Facebook page - 'available July'

Never heard of Gaika - is it a purely Russian designation?

From T-34 vs StuG III:
The problem with Russian vehicles is that most of the official and unofficial designations have only become available over the past 30 years or so, by which time all kinds of alternatives, many based on German intelligence terms (“T34/76B”, “T34/85” etc.*) had already become commonplace and therefore, very hard to shift.Originally posted by Steven ZalogaOne of the few major design changes permitted in 1941 was the development of a new turret, nicknamed the ‘Gaika’ (hex nut) because of its shape.
* There is no such thing as a T34/76 or T34/85, for example — the proper designation for the 76 mm armed variants is just T-34 (with a hyphen), the 85 mm variant is the T-34-85, and so on.Comment

On the Trumpeter & HobbyBoss websites, updates for July releases..................
HobbyBoss IDF Puma Batash in 1/35
Trumpeter T-80 BVM in 1/35
Trumpeter Super Sabre F-100F in 1/32
Trumpeter PLA Type 052C Destroyer in 1/700
Trumpeter HMS Calcutta in 1/350 - interesting model, this, she was lost in 1941 during the evacuation from Crete, but her sister ships were converted to AA ships, which should give a bit of variation

On the ICM Facebook page - boxart for their 3 x 3-axle truck boxing
Unless they're at a substantial discount over individual purchases, I'm at a loss to see who this is aimed at! I would think the percentage of modellers who will need to make 3 of these large trucks will be very small ( or maybe it's a sharing thing? )

This must be a new company - it seems to specialise in 1/32 Models https://www.jetmads.com/ Judging by the boxes, these are not going to be cheap.............
On the AFV Club Facebook page - no further info
On the ICM website 'model in process - renders of an unusual subject
The BM-13 Katyusha rocket launcher on the WOT 8 chassis - in 1/35
I have the WOT 8 British GP Lorry in my stash, and that looks very good - if the launcher is of the same quality, then this will be a stunner!!

A U2 I feel would be nice but will take a lot off space to present! Even at 1:48 I’m guessing the wingspan will exceed half a meter or more. I think the actual planes have a wingspan of 30m + (too lazy to look).
