I'm finding it difficult to get on with the current Doctor, so much so that I've not seen any of the new series yet.

From the new breed Ternnant is my favourite, but Tom Baker is still the best ever.

        Brought up on Jon Pertwee

Current Doctor started off ok but I am starting to find her annoying

Did like the Nikola Tesla episode though

WELL I must admit I liked the very first doctor William Hartnell as I watced the very first epsisode in black an white an I think he was the most mysterious as he was a doctor who as when that came on for the first time we were all askin who is doctor who an where does he come from

I too was brought up on Pertwee. I think the current one is not being helped by the storylines. They are occasionally a bit preachy in tone. Thought the Rosa Parks episode was outstanding though.

Me too brought up on Pertwee and Tom Baker who I have met a few times in the place I used to work in Kent.
Not a fan of the reboot especially the last couple of years just many complicated story lines and a bit too flashy for my liking.

I go right back to Pertwee as well, and Tom Baker has to be my favorite.

David Tennant was superb, character wise I quite like the new doctor, but as was said earlier I think some of the episodes have gone too far on the preaching side, this weeks on plastic fell into that category

Agreed, and some are just bad in general, like the one with the Russian mutants. What they need is better stories, IMHO, and tone down a bit on the SJW angle. Though I think the main mistake they made was to make a clean break from the last series rather than retaining at least some of the supporting characters etc. for, say, one season as a sort of bridge between the previous Doctor and the current one.

No, you're not Chris! I liked his successor, Patrick Troughton. My favourite 'baddies' were the Quarks, which nobody else seems to remember.
