Just how lucky can one modeller get?!

I've been mulling over making a couple of Israeli flags for my on running diorama.

An hour ago my missus brought us both a coffee. She asked if I would like a Choc Ice.
Yes, please. Bit of a treat sez I.

I undid the wrapper and munched away, thinking about the flag. I looked absent mindedly at the empty wrapper all screwed up in my hand......

    The correct colour...

.....and with a bit of coloured pen work. It even has ready made stains from the chocolate!

What are the odds of that happening, just as, and when an Israeli flag is required?

As a bonus, I've rooted in the bin and retrieved the other wrapper. - just in case.

    Made my day.... :smiling4:

Lucky, or is it just a good eye for detail......talking of lucky, I was clearing a couple of boxes from the previous houses loft, and came across yet another Pug.....God know what I was going to do with three of them...but this one cost me 35p back in the day....found a lot of other stuff as well....

      Hi Ron
You must be a favourite with the 'Mogglin Gods'. That was a real case of serendipity. Pizza boxes, sweepings from the garden and now choc ice wrappers. You're the recycling king :tongue-out3:

        Tim, I have Pug plans!

Hi Ron, all of these are boxed unmade, all date from The early to mid seventies in age and all have gone through three house moves unboxed:
Three Airfix ships (Ajax, Fearless, and Graf Spee), lots more railway kits (including white metal and etched brass stuff), a couple of matchbox kits, including an ME 410, an Airfix 25pdr, a 1/48 biplane from a company I’ve never heard of, two dogfight doubles with a kit each remaining....and I’ve still got several boxes to go. To be honest all the made kits and AIRFIX soldiers (a lot!) have gone in the rubbish bin because I simply can’t keep everything.....
I’m going to try Ebay for the first time, so wish me luck.....

That was unusually foolish Ron - you could have eaten another one! :smiling5:
