If you look at a conversation there is a 'leave'' button at the top.

Name:	leave_1.png
Views:	6
Size:	1.7 KB
ID:	1123050

If you click that, you get the following popup.

Name:	leave.png
Views:	7
Size:	2.1 KB
ID:	1123049
That may do what you want.

UPDATE. Found a way to do all

Beside each conversation is a box.
    Put a tick in it.

Name:	leave_2.png
Views:	6
Size:	2.2 KB
ID:	1123051

Then at top of screen is

Name:	leave_3.png
Views:	3
Size:	3.1 KB
ID:	1123052

    and at bottom

Name:	leave_4.png
Views:	5
Size:	1.0 KB
ID:	1123053

    That should work.

Why would you delete them? Are they in your way?

They aren't on your PC, they are on the server.
It doesn't delete them on the server, just hides them from your view.

Like Gary also said, the messages on the forum aren’t on your computer but on the server that the forum runs on. In any case, messages like these, and e-mails as well, take up so little room that you wouldn’t gain anything meaningful by deleting them. It’s bit like saying: “I need more space in my hobby room!” and then clearing out half a dozen drawing pins to make that space

If you’re wondering how much of your computer’s storage space is actually in use, you can find out easily. This article explains how — it shows you where you can see how much room is still free, both in numbers and as a bar that indicates in blue how much is used an in grey how much is still free. As long as you’ve got at least a couple of gigabytes (GB) free space, you shouldn’t need to worry, I’d think.

Very few laptops today will have problems with storage unless you do a lot of gaming or photography and store everything on the laptop.
I have a laptop with a 128GB SSD drive in it that I can run most things on and is barely using 60GB.
I store most of my photos online, or on my external storage devices ( in my case a small file server ) as my internet is still in the dark ages as BT refuses to upgrade the lines or install a green box anywhere nearby.
