Before I buy - Do these cut the Mustard?

    Hi all

These are quite pricey so are they considered good Sprue Cutters?

Xuron cutters are also VERY good. Not cheap but well worth it in my opinion and those at my model club. They come in a range of different sizes too.

        Good luck in your hunt.

Bought mine to replace a pair of chepo ones Warren , should have had them from the start. Leave such a clean cut.

Chisel and lump hammer works but tends to cut the bench in half

Most sprue cutters will cut mustard no problem Warren , what you need are ones that cut plastic . I’ve got the Xuron ones that Alan says and they’re good .

A problem with some of the budget ones is the rivet is not tight and the clipper is loose a quick whack with a hammer soon sorts that out, then they just need sharpening.
