Wasn't Ayers a de facto member of Gong for a while, or have I got my wires crossed? It was a long time ago. I know members of Gong played on some of his albums, as well as just about everyone involved in the 'Canterbury scene' including his old mates from Soft Machine.

I have discovered only in recent years a taste for the music I listened to when I was still at school. It must be a symptom of getting old! In pre-punk days I also played in a few bands which were definitely influenced by this kind of thing

Sorry, we're getting a bit of topic.

It's obviously a simple substitution cypher and I reckon I've cracked it.

Just PM me your bank details and I'll let the Nigerian prince know where to send your end of the $28 million.

            Cheers

I suspect Jakko is right Pete. There's almost some sense in the words relating to money - too many for the text to be completely random.

No matter though. It appears Steve has stepped in to act as Paul's agent so this particular opportunity has passed us by. Next time though, I'll keep it to myself!

PS Paul & Steve: As I made you aware of this offer, it's gonna cost you both a cup of coffee at Cosford as my commission - but only if you actually receive the money and turn up at Cosford!
