ive done a few Italerai kits in the past, and got several more in the stash, including a few from the same vintage as yours.......those i built i always enjoyed and never had any real drama.............although i think they went through a period where the styrene was a little brittle so you have to be a little more carefulPer Ardua

So which ones on my list are the worst for inaccuracy? At this point I really don’t care I’ll probably just build themComment

The Stu.G. IV and Pz.Kpfw. IV are the 1970s kits, that were really good at the time but are now considered to have a number of flaws (of course). However, they build up well and are far better than their Tamiya counterparts (except in ease of construction, of course).
The Panther isn’t a bad kit, but simplified in many ways. I built it 20 years ago or so and don’t remember any major problems with it, other than the simplification I already mentioned and several parts being either a bit too thick or a bit too thin. But again, it builds into a good enough representation of a Panther if you don’t want absolute accuracy.
The Tiger and Sturmtiger I can’t say much about as I’ve never built them, but as they’re of about the same vintage as the Panther, I would expect them to be much like that.
All in all, if you ask me there’s nothing fundamentally wrong with any of them, though more accurate options are available for all of them, of course — for twice the price, if not more.Comment

Lee, I'm with Paul.
No idea either.
I just open the box, put it together, have fun and enjoy my build.
....to each his or her own though.Comment

Lee,
nice spread of models - some last century - some of them have been improved over the years with new parts. The Panther & the SturmTiger are nice models ( some releases of the Panther had Zimmerit! ). They all build pretty well, the only thing I would say is that any vinyl tracks should be replaced ( some models have them, others don't ).
Unless you are a rivet counter, or intend to show them, I'd go for it! :thumb2:
