Yet more excellent posts and 'One Liners' Top stuff!

....a quick thank you to Allen and Andrew for your nice comments about the model. Although a 'Quicky', it still took a load of composing and putting together to get it summat like.

Thanks again to everyone for your superb contributions. If they brought even the smallest of smiles to some, then it's a great all round result for us all during these bonkers times.

Your good friend and earth heaper upperer.

        Offa.

Ah, but the 'In English Only' sign is all part of Chard's Master plan.

If it had read Croeso i Gymru as well, the English, thinking themselves (as usual) too high and mighty to lower themselves to learn, even a bit of the Welsh language, might have thought the Welsh version underneath the English one might have meant something other than 'Welcome to Wales'. Being totally confused they would try and sneak in under the wire. Just having the sign in English has lured the foreigners to a perceived easy border crossing....... Bang, Bang!

Taffy Jones. Soon to move down the hill.

The sign should say 'Welcome to Wales, Now $&@% Off!'

You might want to think about a modern version. Two coppers and an ANPR camera.
