Sad news, Sean Connery died aged 90

He was the first to bring James Bond to the big screen and played the role seven times.

How very sad. He will be remembered for so many great roles he played over decades.

The passing of an icon. At least I have a reminder of the great man in the cabinet

My first recollections go back to his roll in "Darby O' Gill and the Little People". Saw my first Bond thriller at age 14........" Thunderball".....what a classic!

Sad indeed. I remember seeing the The Hill on TV on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. It was probably in my mid/late teens and at that point I only really knew him from Bond reruns on TV. It was real eye opener for me.
